On February 13, the Wujiang New Area of Suzhou (Shengze Town) held a centralized start-up of major projects in the Spring Festival of 2019 in Wujiang District. 39 projects were centralized on that day, with a total investment of 28.3 billion yuan, covering advanced manufacturing, modern service industry, livelihood security, ecological environmental protection, infrastructure and other fields.

Among them, there is the Henton Rockley silicon photonic chip integrated optical module project involving semiconductors. The project is invested by Henton Rockley Technology Co., Ltd. with a total investment of 190 million yuan. The project adds 9 automatic hot-pressing soldering machines, 30 high-speed error coders and 10 mounters. After putting into operation, 1.2 million silicon photonic chips will be produced annually.
